Hey Spong people! I have entered a competition to create a big idea for Watford. I proposed a Watford film festival, (please click the link and vote for the Watford film festival )

But i ask you, if you were to show any film at a festival then what would it be?

One of my ideas is to show Dawn of the dead in the local shopping centre

Give us some valid Watford Postcodes, so the entries seem more genuine ;)

Hey Miacid,
Sorry i didn't post back before voting closed, but you didn't need to enter any postcode. Doesn't matter as we won though!
So I will be arranging a film festival. so what would you show?

If you're looking for location based films, then maybe show:

The Faculty, in a school
Scream, in cul-de-sac/street
Attack the Block, on an estate
28 days later, in a lab environment
12 Angry men, in a court room/setting
Back to the Future, in a car park
Happy Gilmore/Caddy shack, on a golf course
The Italian Job (original), in an Italian restaurant

These are just random ideas that popped into my head and was thinking that you can add the experience with extras dressed up as characters from the films

Great ideas! back to the future would be a great outdoor screening.

12 angry men is one of my favourite films and will definately be at the festival!

We have discussed a film club, rather than festival, a few times and an outdoor location seemed like a great idea.

A huge screen hung on trees in a park with a rear projector would be a fantastic way to see some huge blockbusters or some horror films.
I reject your reality and substitute my own!

12 Angry Men is a brilliant film.

How about This is Spinal Tap open air at Stonehenge?

The Dambusters at Eyebrook Reservoir?

The Day of the Triffids at Kew Gardens?

Interview with a Vampire at Whitby Abbey Ruin?

The Lord of the Rings Marathon in Birmingham?

Dumb and Dumber at The Houses of Parliament?

Titanic (eugh) at Southampton Port?

Any Bond film outside MI6?

The Italian Job outside the Bank of England?

The Great Escape outside any divorce court?
